Know God Classes - Adult Sunday AM Classes (9:30-10:15)
Walking in New Spiritual Strength – Ron Myers (330-603-8567) will facilitate this class beginning March 31 that will be a study of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit. This study is broken up in three parts: 1) Basic understanding of the Holy Spirit with the intent of praying for and receiving the Baptism and Speaking in Tongues. 2) The Spiritual Gifts; what they are and how they operate 3) How the gifts are used and where your Spiritual strength is (application in the church and the market place). This course that will require your full attendance, is worth the time and commitment. There will also be a required Wednesday evening for prayer and receiving.
Adult Bible Study – Jeremy Lindeman facilitates this on-going Bible Study. Everyone is welcome and can enter at any time.

Vision (6th-12th Grade) – Our Youth Group meets on Wednesdays at the URF from 6:30-8:30 PM. Bring a friend and join the fun, Led by Josh Graham (330-503-1170)
Young Unmarried Adult Group – Facilitated by Bruce (330-853-4747) and Monica Stryffeler (330-853-6958); Meets 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 7-9 PM at their home (158 Parkview Dr., Columbiana). This Spring, we'll be exploring themes surrounding what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and change the world.
Tuesday Fellowship Group – Facilitated by Bernie (330-843-7823) & Sherri Bennett (330-272-4270), meet the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 7-9 PM at rotating locations. Check with the Bennetts for current locations. This group is open to anyone. No Child care provided.
Wednesday Fellowship Group – Facilitated by Cary & Gloria Pitt (330-533-6713), meet the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 7-8:30 PM at their home (11770 Green Beaver Rd, Canfield – just off 165). No Child Care provided.
Acts 11:24 Group – “He was a good man that way, enthusiastic and confident in the Holy Spirit’s ways. The community grew large and strong in the Master” (Acts 11:24, TPT). May what was written about this community in the Book of Acts be said of us as followers of Jesus Christ. Meeting together Sunday nights, we will share the stories of our lives in Him as a practical means of encouraging, comforting, and strengthening one another. And we hope to include a “field trip” or two along the way! Its facilitators are Marney Broderick (330-892-6019) & Rich & Beth Sheldon (484-388-1929). Sundays beginning Jan 6, 6:30-8:30 PM at Marney’s House (100 County Line Rd, Columbiana – just off SR-7). All are welcome.
SHINE (URF Women’s Ministry) – Leaders: Beth Scheller (330-402-3318) & Kate Holm (330-881-5320) Mission—Empowering, encouraging, and equipping women through small group relationships to let their light shine on their journey of spiritual transformation and personal destiny. Vision—To create a network of confident Christian women who are empowered to pursue God’s transforming power in their lives in order that they may reflect God’s glory, Showing Him In Nothing-less than Everything, changing the world around them.

SHINE consists of 3 components: 1) SHINE Gatherings—Open to all women at the URF to facilitate opportunities to Know God, Share Life, and Serve Others. 2) SHINE Leadership Development—Empowering Leaders with the tools and skills needed to lead their SHINE Group. 3) SHINE Groups—Small groups lead by a SHINE Leader consisting of 5-8 women committed to meeting monthly for intentional spiritual and personal growth, connecting regularly to share life, and serving others as we let our light SHINE.
Women’s Daytime Bible Study – This Bible Study, led by Shirley Stryffeler (330-482-2910), meets Thursdays, 10:30 AM at Generation’s Café. Come and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and discussions around God’s Word.
Men’s Breakfast – We have a Men’s Breakfast the 2nd Saturday of every month at 8:30 AM at Heck’s Restaurant (Columbiana). Contact Greg Aker (330-853-3900).
Worship Too – A worship fellowship and incubator for those who long to worship, be involved with leading worship, advance worship musicianship, support worship technically and/or grow as a worshiper. Prayer Groups Our Valley Prayer (OVP) – Meeting every Tuesday 7-9 PM at the URF, OVP is a gathering of Christ-followers from the area who worship and pray for the Kingdom of God to come here as it is in Heaven. Sunday AM Prayer – Overseen by Bruce Stryffeler and Rich & Beth Sheldon. Meets every Sunday at 9 AM in the Prayer Room. Historically, these are powerful times of prayer and prophecy, partnering with God in setting the stage for what He does in our gatherings. Everyone is invited to join the adventure!
Prayer Ministry Team – There is a longing for the revealing of heaven through the sons and daughters of God. (See Ro 8:19.) If you would like to be a part of facilitating Kingdom breakthrough coming into people's lives, contact Rich or Beth Sheldon or Bruce Stryffeler. The URF Prayer Ministry Team ministers to people during our Sunday gatherings. Each participant serves about once a month. Trainings will be provided.
